
Vassiliki Folia
Vassiliki Folia is a graduate of the Department of Psychology, School of Philosophy, in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2002) and holds a MSc degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Radboud University, the Netherlands (2007). She completed her doctoral dissertation in 2013 at the Department of Clinical Cognitive Neuroscience at the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden. She worked as a researcher (2004-2016) at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics and the Donders Center for Cognitive Neuroimaging. From 2009-2012 she was appointed Assistant Professor and later Associate Professor (2013-2018) at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS). From 2016-2018 she was Head of research in health sciences in the same university. Since 2021 she is an Assistant Professor in the School of Psychology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
My research interests include the field of Psychology of Language and the study of language processing and implicit learning through behavioral, neurophysiological and neuroimaging methods.

2020 – σήμερα : Πρόγραμμα «Time2Read: Links between time perception and reading skills. Investigation via EEG and eye tracking» σε συνεργασία με το Πανεπιστήμιο του Porto, Πορτογαλία. Μελέτη της επίδρασης του ρυθμού και της οπτικής επεξεργασίας στην ανάγνωση σε παιδιά με δυσλεξία (συμπεριφορική, οπτική ιχνηλάτηση και ηλεκτροεγκεφαλογραφική καταγραφή).
