In order to be entitled to borrow from all the libraries of the U.P.Th, students of the Department of Psychology (undergraduate and postgraduate) must activate their academic ID card as a borrowing card at the library of the Department of Psychology. Otherwise the academic ID card is not valid as a borrowing card. The borrowing card is strictly personal.

External members:
In order to become a member of the library and be able to borrow any type of material, a membership card provided by the library must be obtained.

In order to obtain a membership card, the card must be presented:

a) the identity card of the person concerned,

(c) the payment of a membership fee, the amount of which shall be:

20 euros (quarterly)
EUR 30 (semi-annual)

Search on the shelves

The search and retrieval of a book is based on its taxonomic number. Books are sorted on the shelves arranged from left to right, as you see each shelf individually. An example:
LB The first row of a taxonomic number is sorted alphabetically. E.g. LB is located between LA and LC
1028.5 The second row is sorted numerically. E.g. LB 1028.5 is located between LB 1028 and 1029.
.M4 The next row(s) are sorted alphabetically and then numerically. E.g. LB 1028.5.M4 is located between LB 1028.5.L and LB1028.5.N
