Πληροφορίες για την ομιλήτρια
Dr. Gerta Bardhoshi, a Certified School Counselor and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, is a Professor of Counselor Education at the University of Iowa. She received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the George Washington University and has worked in multiple settings over the past fifteen years, including schools, clinics, universities, and the federal government as a counselor, educator, clinical supervisor, and program evaluator. Her research focuses on examining best practices in mental health assessment and intervention with school-aged youth, as well as the factors that enable counselors to practice effectively and stave off burnout. Dr. Bardhoshi has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers and received over $19 million in external research funding. In recognition of her research contributions, she was the recipient of the 2022 American Counseling Association (ACA) Research Award.
