Μασούρα Ελβίρα
Η Ελβίρα Μασούρα αποφοίτησε από το Τμήμα Φιλοσοφίας, Παιδαγωγικής και Ψυχολογίας, της Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής, του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστήμιου Θεσσαλονίκης, με κατεύθυνση Ψυχολογία και στη συνέχεια απέκτησε Μεταπτυχιακό Δίπλωμα Ειδίκευσης με Κατεύθυνση στη «Νοητική Υστέρηση και τις Μαθησιακές Δυσκολίες», από το Τμήμα Ψυχολογίας του University of Keele, της Αγγλίας (1991). Εκπόνησε τις διδακτορικές της σπουδές με υποτροφία του Ιδρύματος Κρατικών Υποτροφιών στο Τμήμα Πειραματικής Ψυχολογίας του University of Bristol, της Αγγλίας και το 2000 ολοκλήρωσε τη διδακτορική της διατριβή στην Ψυχολογία.
Εκπονεί έρευνα στο χώρο των βασικών γνωστικών μηχανισμών όπως αυτός της μνήμης. Είναι Διευθύντρια του Ψυχολογικού Εργαστηρίου του Τμήματος Ψυχολογίας του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστήμιου Θεσσαλονίκης. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε ερευνητικά προγράμματα του εξωτερικού και της Ελλάδας. Έχει ανακοινώσει την έρευνα της σε διεθνή και εθνικά συνέδρια και έχει δημοσιεύσει εργασίες σε διεθνή περιοδικά, σε βιβλία και σε πρακτικά συνεδρίων. Είναι μέλος διεθνών επιστημονικών συλλόγων και Εταιρειών, όπως της ομάδας του ΑΠΘ «Mε δυο γλώσσες» που αποτελεί το Ελληνικό παράρτημα του δικτύου «Bilingualism Matters» του University of Edinburgh.
Τα ερευνητικά μου ενδιαφέροντα αφορούν την περιοχή της γνωστικής πειραματικής ψυχολογίας με έμφαση στη μνήμη και τη γλώσσα. Το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της ερευνητικής μου δουλειάς αφορά τη σχέση των δύο αυτών γνωστικών συστημάτων, συγκεκριμένα τη συμβολή της εργαζόμενης μνήμης στην απόκτηση λεξιλογίου (στη μητρική και στην ξένη γλώσσα) και τη λειτουργία των γνωστικών λειτουργιών σε δίγλωσσους και πολύγλωσσους πληθυσμούς. Η πιο πρόσφατη ερευνητική δουλειά μου επικεντρώνεται στην κατασκευή έργων για την εκτίμηση της εργαζόμενης σε παιδιά και ενήλικες και στη δημιουργία ηλεκτρονικών δραστηριοτήτων που ενδυναμώνουν την εργαζόμενη μνήμη.
